Performing the songs of Australia, old-time America, and Ireland.
The River Bottom Bushwhackers perform a mix of Irish, Australian, and
American traditional music. Our unique instrumentation and
repertoire appeals to all ages, with a spirited sound reminiscent of
days gone by.
We are one of only a few American groups performing the "bush band" repertoire of Australia, and also perform American fiddle tunes, ragtime and string band music, and Irish reels and jigs. All members also sing and the group's main instruments include guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, accordion, xylophone, washtub bass, and percussion.
